Eyebolts have a shank for anchoring to a structure or equipment and a ring (or rings) at the top for attaching ropes, hooks or other hardware. They are used as ground bolts for wiring or tying down wires and cables. Mechanical or eyebolts are rated for vertical or angular lifting to their designated capacity.
Also called Ball Eye, with oval and circle shape.
There are different sizes
The processing way is Forged.
Mechanical eyebolts with shoulders
Shouldered mechanical eyebolts are fully threaded bolts and are suitable for lifting angular loads up to 45 degrees. However, lifting angular loads can reduce the capacity of the eyebolt. Heavy-duty forged eyebolts with continuous eyelets can be forged with one-piece shoulders, which allow them to lift heavy eccentric loads. Depending on their size and metal composition, they can be used as attachment points for rigging, anchoring, pulling, pushing or lifting objects. These eyebolts are available in plain steel finish for use in dry environments or galvanized finish for corrosion resistance in wet environments. They can also be hot-dipped galvanized for additional corrosion resistance and strength. These eyebolts are also sold in 304 and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel is chemically resistant.
Shoulderless mechanical eyebolts
Shoulderless mechanical eyebolts are used for vertical or inline lifting or for objects up to a specified capacity. Eyebolts without shoulders should not be used for angular or eccentric loads. These eyebolts are available in plain steel finish for use in dry environments or galvanized finish for corrosion resistance in wet environments. They can also be hot-dipped galvanized for additional corrosion resistance and strength. These eyebolts are also sold in 304 and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel is chemically resistant and 316 stainless steel is the most chemically resistant.
Wire Loop Eye Bolts
Wire eye bolts hold wire rope, cable or other light applications. They are not intended for use in lifting or rigging applications. These eyebolts are available in a black oxide finish to resist corrosion in dry environments or can be galvanized to resist corrosion in wet environments. These eyebolts are also available in 304 and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel is chemically resistant and 316 stainless steel is the most chemically resistant.
Mechanical eyebolt blanks with shoulders
Also known as hollow eye bolts, machine eye bolt blanks can be welded or threaded to suit any fastening application. Shouldered eyebolt blanks can be used for rigging, anchoring, pulling, pushing or lifting to their specified capacity. The shoulder can be used for angular or eccentric lifting. These blanks are made from plain steel finishes suitable for dry environments as well as 304 and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel is chemically resistant and 316 stainless steel is the most chemically resistant.
Mechanical eyebolt blanks without shoulder
Also known as hollow eye bolts, machine eye bolt blanks can be welded or threaded to fit any fastening application. They should not be used for lifting purposes. These blanks can be cut to any desired length and have an unmachined shank. These blanks are made of plain steel and stainless steel and are resistant to corrosion and chemicals in dry environments.
