According to GB/ t5075-2001 national standard "electric power fittings terms" definition: electric power fittings are metal accessories that connect and combine various devices in the power system to transfer mechanical load, electrical load and some protective effect.

Classification of electrical power fittings

1. According to its function and structure, it can be divided into suspension wire clip, tensile wire clip, UT wire clip, connection metal, connection metal, protection metal, equipment wire clip, t-type wire clip, busbar metal, pull wire metal, etc. According to the purpose can be used for circuit hardware and transformer hardware.

4) connection hardware. This kind of hardware is specially used to connect all kinds of bare wire and lightning conductor. The connection carries the same electrical load as the conductor, and most of the connections carry all the tension of the conductor or lightning conductor.

5) protective hardware. This kind of hardware is used to protect wires and insulators, such as equalizer ring for protecting insulators, weight hammers for removing insulator strings, and vibration hammers and wire guards for preventing wire vibration

6) contact with metal. This kind of hardware is used for connecting hard bus and soft bus with outgoing terminals of electrical equipment, T connection of conductor and parallel connection without bearing force, these connections are electrical contacts. Therefore, high electrical conductivity and contact stability of contact fittings are required.

7) fixed hardware, also known as power plant hardware or large current bus hardware. This kind of hardware is used for fixing and connecting hard bus or soft bus with strut insulator in distribution device. However, since these fixtures are used for high current, all components should have no hysteresis loss.
